It’s a full super moon tonight and in the spirit of the full moon’s essence of release, I am liberating this new ukulele cover. The song is ‘Nylon Smile’ by Portishead. I hope you enjoy!
I can’t believe it’s been 5 years. Happy Birthday, Panorama! You were the solo album that was dying to be born. You’re weird, you’re moody, strong, yet whimsical, and you always cheer for the underdogs.
Others have called you soothing yet sinister, or witchy and intoxicating, or the perfect backdrop to Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. I’m not sure what you think of that, but thanks for choosing me to bang out your messages and melodies. It was sure lots of fun.
In honour of the upcoming Supermoon Blue Blood Eclipse Event of January 31st, 2018, I recorded a ukulele version of the classic song 'Blue Moon'. It turned out sort of like a romantic, psychedelic lullaby. I also created a video for it, which you can view on my VIDEO page. The track is available for download in my SHOPPE.
'Suddenly Mortality' is the first time that I felt music and pictures come through at the same time. Watch and hear here, on the Video page. You can also buy the track Here.
From my ukulele madness, emerged a cover of Radiohead's 'Lotus Flower', complete with visuals. See the video on my Youtube Channel by clicking the image below. You can also buy the track Here.
